About This Page
This page has two purposes:
- Collecting some notes that are mainly useful for me.
- Publishing some of my projects (if I have time to clean them up and publish them).
I'm a native German speaker. So why did I write this page in English? Due to my Open Source Software work, I'm quite used to writing anything vaguely technical in English and I also have a lot of English speaking contacts. Therefore I decided to keep most of the site English only. Sometimes you can maybe find German summaries or translations (like in the next paragraph).
About Me
I'm Christian Mauderer, an electrical engineer living near the beautiful lake Ammersee in the greater Munich area. My passions are Open Source software and interesting Hardware Hacks. I was fortunate enough to be able to turn these hobbies into a career and I found a great employer, who is offering software and hardware engineering services around embedded systems and especially the real time open source operating system RTEMS where I'm now also one of the maintainers. Beneath that I'm helping with the organization of our local repair initiative and I'm one of the regular members of our local chaos circle where we discuss everything related to free software, hardware tinkering, data security or similar topics.
